Yea, but the Z is more than 2x the price of a Titan. So, for 2/3 the price, you can have the SLI Titan setup. Unless you are slot-limited, it just seems silly. That said, it's totally boss hardware.

Do not discount the performance/density factor. It matters. It costs more than two titans would because there is no other way to get almost 2x titan level performance from one card, and there are definitely folks in the HPC world who would be happy to pay for - and get a return on - the premium.

I hear reports that it was a triple-slot card. Don't think that's fitting in a slot-limited case. (Thinking superpower ITX builds and the like.) But, if it is just 2 slots, then it makes perfect sense.
